The 30th annual Out On Film Festival shows 130 gay films and videos at three different theaters. Sept. 27 -- Oct. 7.
The Atlanta Black Theatre Festival delivers 40 plays in four days, including single acts, solos, youth theater and full-length plays. Oct. 3 -- 6.
The Pumpkin Festival at Stone Mountain Park features family shows, games, storytelling, kids’ activities and a pie-eating contest. Oct. 5 -- 28, weekends.
Fright Fest at Six Flags over Georgia has plenty of tricks and treats (plus ghosts, ghouls and zombies) waiting for you. Oct. 5 -- 31.
Netherworld thrills and terrifies with stunt actors in intense makeup, movie-quality special effects and detailed sets. Oct. 5 -- Nov. 4.
A3C Festival and Conference , Oct. 3 -- 7 A huge hip-hop festival, a conference with an allstar lineup of speakers, and a summit for social change. Not to mention a "2-Day journey with Wu-Tang Clan through the 36 Chambers." So, basically, everything. This is an only-in-Atlanta event not to be missed.
The Edgewood Mac and Cheese Festival features unlimited samples of macaroni & cheese from local restaurants, with music by local bands at Walker Park. Oct. 6.
Destination East Point brings live entertainment, acrobats, artists and food vendors to downtown East Point. Oct. 6.
