Chocolate Chip Cookies

These easy chocolate chip cookies are the best I have ever made! Soft, chewy and full of chips! A must try cookie recipe.​

Ingredients

 

  • 2 cups brown sugar

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 teaspoons vanilla

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 2 teaspoons hot water

  • 2/3 teaspoon salt

  • 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar

  • 2 1/2 cups flour

  • 2 cups chocolate chips​

Instructions

​

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Cream butter and brown sugar in mixer.

  3. Beat in eggs, vanilla, baking soda, hot water, salt and cream of tartar.

  4. Remove bowl from mixer and stir in flour and chocolate chips until incorporated.

  5. Drop by spoonful on parchment lined baking sheet 2 inches apart.

  6. Bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees and let cool on wire racks.
